Sharia Governance
Every Islamic finance product we arrange carries a live fatwa from a Sharia Supervisory Committee whose scholars we publish openly.
ASPIC does not lend our own money. When we arrange Sharia-compliant finance, we do so from UK-authorised Islamic banks that maintain their own Sharia Supervisory Committees (SSCs). This page documents which committees supervise which products.

Named scholars whose fatwas govern our Islamic finance products.
The exact composition depends on which lender's product we arrange for you. Placeholder names below will be replaced with the actual scholars per lender once confirmed by the lender.
Dr Aisha Al-Fahim
Chair — Property finance
Sheikh Rashid ibn Yusuf
Deputy — Trade & commodity
Dr Mahmoud Bin Salim
